About Fresenius Medical Care
Fresenius Medical Care is the world’s leading provider of products and services for individuals with renal diseases of which around 3.9 million patients worldwide regularly undergo dialysis treatment. Dialysis is a vital blood cleansing procedure that substitutes the function of the kidneys in case of kidney failure.
Fresenius Medical Care offers products and services along the entire dialysis value chain from a single source. We care for approximately 345,000 patients in our global network of more than 4,000 dialysis clinics. At the same time, we operate 42 production sites on all continents, to provide dialysis products such as dialysis machines, dialyzers and related disposables.

About Curaçao Medical Care
The CDC (Curaçao Dialysis Center) was founded in 2006, and Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services, acquired it in 2013. Since then, the center has worked to meet and maintain the Fresenius Medical Care quality standards as well as local and global regulatory requirements. The center is located in Curaçao, in the city of Willemstad. The island is between Aruba and Bonaire, in the southern Caribbean Sea. CDC specializes in hemodialysis (HD) and offers modern treatments, such as high flux hemodiafiltration (HV HDF®) therapy. All treatments are performed with Fresenius Medical Care equipment and follow the company’s guidelines.
The CDC offers 32 dialysis stations and 2 isolation stations. Each station is equipped with a TV and free Wi-Fi, and the patients receive complimentary coffee, tea or juice, and a sandwich during the treatment. The center also offers treatments to patients on holiday, which makes Curaçao an attractive vacation destination for dialysis patients who want to enjoy this beautiful island.
